10x PAGE-gel transfer buffer

Description

Tris-Glycine Transfer Buffer (10X) is specially optimized for western blot transfer applications using Tris-Glycine gels. The transfer buffer can be reused at least five times and maintain a similar extent of protein transfer to PVDF membrane. Repeated use of the transfer buffer containing methanol will significantly reduce the volume of hazardous waste generated and its disposal cost as well as its adverse effect on the environment.

Components in 1x Formulation:

• 192mM Glycine,
• 25mM Tris,
• 20% Methanol.
• Supplied at pH 8.3.

Directions for Use:

Dilute transfer buffer (10x) to a 1000mL 1x solution by add 100mL 10x Transfer buffer, 700mL ddH2O and 200mL Methonal. This product supplies enough material to make 10 liters of 1x solution.

Storage Conditions:

Supplied as a 10X solution, 1000 mL. Store at room temperature.
