Description

The 96-well plate Plasmid DNA Prep (mini) kit provides a simple, fast, and cost-effective method for purifying plasmid DNA for gene clone analysis. It is based on binding of DNA to silica based membranes in chaotrophic salts. This kit perfectly combines the plasmid DNA binding step and the lysate clearance step into one. This modification significantly increases the purity and yields of plasmid and saves 50% of the processing time in comparison with current similar products on the market.
For best results, use this kit to isolate and purify plasmid of no more than 10kb. The efficiency may be reduced with greater sizes.

Applications:

• Isolate and purify plasmid DNA from 1-3 mL of E. coli culture media.
• DNA can be directly used for PCR, cloning, sequencing, cell transfection, or enzymatic analysis without further manipulation.
