Applications

Protease inhibitor

Functions

Irreversible inhibitor of serine proteases including trypsin, chymotrypsin, plasmin, plasma kallikrein and thrombin. Stable, non-toxic and water-soluble alternative to PMSF. Typical working concentrations are 0.1-1 mg/ml. May be used in cell culture or in cell lysis buffers. Inhibits NADPH oxidase activation.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml) or in Water (up to 100 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions at pH <7 are stable for up to 6 months if stored in the refrigerator
