GenDEPOT’s secondary antibodies are ideal for use in immunoassay applications such as ELISA, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. Affinity-purified antibodies are especially valuable in immunoassays where extraneous serum proteins and unknown antibodies can interfere with test results. 

Affinity purified polyclonal antibody to Goat IgG heavy and light chains (whole IgG) made in Rabbit and labeled with horseradish peroxidase. Product has been cross-absorbed to human serum to minimize cross-reactivity to human immunoglobulin.

Specificity/Cross Reactivity	Tested by gel diffusion and ELISA techniques as applicable. This product reacts specifically with goat IgG and may recognize other immunoglobulin types that have light chains in common with IgG. Reactivity to IgG subclasses has not been tested. Antibodies to goat IgG may cross-react with immunoglobulins of other mammalian species if common binding sites are shared.
Suggested Working Concentration	Optimal working concentration should be determined experimentally. Prepare working dilution in TBS or other buffer such as BSA or Milk Diluent/Blocking Solution.
